a landscape we had to do for a project. Used some different photo reff, chose what i liked and did the composition myself. made a lot of it up. i don't find it a dark illustration or a depressing image. i find it calming and peaceful... maybe a bit sad but not as dark as some people have said, but that's just me.

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. The tree and crows look great, but the darkness pulls em forward a bit much. The gravestone in the right foreground looks a little small mixed with this. I might be wrong though. Just my 2 cents.
The seraphim look fantastic, as well as the overall graveyard feel.
