the final cover. i have a lot of fun coloring covers. not really narrative pages, i hate doing flats and i don't use them when i do covers, well maybe sometimes, but not for everything. I didn't use any flats for this because it was all going to be one entity. i digitally painted the 'fire' looking background, then rendered over it on another layer. happy with the way it turned out.
as always, the colors online are less.

I commented earlier on the black and white version of this but I have to say now that the colours on this are very, very good. Sometimes I find that colour can diminish the overall impact of the image but in this case it just enhances it.
